Devils Tower - Alpine, New Jersey

The tower, formerly known as Rio Vista, was built in 1910 by Manuel Rionda, a sugar importer who built the tower for his wife. There are many stories surrounding this tower, one which claims Mrs. Rionda jumped to her death from this tower. The tower, which some claim is haunted, earned the name "Devil's Tower" soon after the rumors of Mrs. Rionda's death began to spread.
